Eliminating discrimination and accommodating differences in education and the whole idea of educational equality started with the establishment of public schools. However in an effort to create an equal education sector only acted by furthering the delineation of the inequalities. This essay has expressed views exploring factors resulting in some citizen’s feelings concerning the segregation of students by gender. It is therefore evident that only when people change their mentality and abandon the notion of gender norms and disparities, only then will the promotion of equality be realized in society. This shows that gender gaps in the school system only serve to mirror segregation or discrimination in the community that is presently. This paper makes an effort to motivate and discourage inequality of gender in the education sector.
